The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a second charge sheet in the NEET UG 2024 question paper theft case. This charge sheet was submitted to a special court in Patna and names six people. They are facing serious charges, including criminal conspiracy, cheating, theft, and receiving stolen property.

Among the accused are Dr. Ahsanul Haque, the Principal of Oasis School, and Md. Imtiyaz Alam, the Vice-Principal. Both were responsible for organizing the NEET UG 2024 exam in Hazaribagh and are accused of working with others to steal the question paper. Earlier, the CBI had filed a first charge sheet against 13 individuals on August 1, 2024.
The six individuals listed in the latest charge sheet are
- Baldev Kumar (Chintu)
- Sunny Kumar
- Dr. Ahsanul Haque
- Md. Imtiyaz Alam
- Jamaluddin- Jamal (a newspaper reporter)
- Aman Kumar Singh
The investigation has shown that Dr. Haque and Alam conspired with others to steal the NEET exam questions. So far, the CBI has arrested a total of 48 people connected to this case. They have also identified students who benefited from the stolen paper and shared this information with the National Testing Agency for further action.
The CBI is continuing to investigate other accused individuals and various aspects of the case. Their goal is to ensure that justice is served and to protect the integrity of the examination process.
