Selfie has already taken lot of lives and this time a national level athlete lost her life just because of selfie. A national level athlete died while taking a selfie in Madhya Pradesh. Indeed selfie is becoming ‘deadfie’.
Pooja Kumari, a steeplechase athlete was taking selfie with her friends near a pond at the SAI academy in Bhopal. According to the sources the athlete, along with her two friends, was returning after a practice session when they stopped at the pond after seeing some fishes in it.
Suddenly, Pooja slipped and fell in the pond and started to drown as she did not know how to swim. The other two athletes did not know how to swim either and ran towards the hostel for help. But the time they returned Pooja was dead.
It’s really important for us to understand that while taking pictures we should always be careful.
