Delhiites today woke up to a cold morning after overnight rain and storm which led to a sharp drop in mercury, even as traffic snarls were observed in several areas, due to the accumulation of water.
Safdarjung observatory, recorded 10.2 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours, while areas under Palam, Lodhi Road, Ayanagar and singing observatories recorded 10.6 mm rainfall measurement , 8.5 mm, 5.6 mm and 6.2 mm, respectively.
The humidity was recorded at 74 percent at 8.30 am.
