On Friday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ordered the police to probe the Narada controversial tapes.

Earlier, the Calcutta High Court had formed a three member Committee to probe the tapes.
Narada news which is led by its editor-in-chief Matthew Samuel, had released videos of sting operation where the top Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders were seen accepting bribes from journalists.
The ruling party had dismissed the tapes by saying that it was mere dirty politics played by their opponents.
