Mahad Bridge: Debris of two buses found, Fresh Hopes to people

Navy drivers on Thursday spotted the debris of two buses, which went missing after the Mahad Bridge collapsed. Amid fears that bodies of some victims in Mahad Bridge will never be found, the debris has given fresh hopes to the relatives of victims.

Notably, both the buses were washed away in Savitri River near Mahad after a British Era bridge collapsed.

A Defence Spokesperson said that after working 12-14 hours a day for the last 8 finally the navy drivers have found the debris of the two buses submerged in water at Mahad.

The wreckage seems to be parts of buses and were found 170 and 200 metres from the collapsed bridge.
