Heeraben Modi visited Bank to exchange money and has set an example for others
Decision of banning notes of 500 and 1000 is supported by a lot of people, though people are criticizing it as well. Common people are great gainers of this decision, but currently they are facing a lot of problems. Banks and ATM’s are overcrowded and it has become extremely difficult to get cash. But today Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s mother Heeraben Modi visited bank in Ahmedabad to swap her currency notes.
After arriving at the bank in a wheelchair, she was helped by two ladies who accompanied her. Notably, Heeraben is 96 years old. According to the latest reports, Heeraben Modi exchanged currency for 4,500. Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikant Das yesterday announced that there will be a separate queue for senior citizens and “divyang”. Heerben Modi visited bank and has set an examples for others. She has given out a strong message that currently it is important to support our Prime Minister.
PM Modi and his emotional speech
On Sunday, while addressing people of Goa, Modi was filled with emotions and he told how he left his family just for the sake of Nation. He demanded only 50 days and promised to bring ‘acche din’. Prime Minister’s move to scrap Rs 500, Rs 1000 notes came under strong criticism from the Opposition, with TMC leading the charge. Though congress to BSP everyone is protesting against PM, but common are really happy and are supporting PM’s major initiative combat black money.

Heeraben Modi lives a very simple life. Like a common old woman she appeared in Ahmedabad Bank just to get her currency changed. She also followed the rule changed by her own son.
