The Met Department today predicted heavy rainfall at remote areas in North costal Andhra in the coming 48 hours.
The rain is likely to occur in an upper air cyclonic circulation in Odisha and Jharkhand.
The rain is expected to travel from Madhya Pradesh to South Tamil Nadu passing through Telangana and Rayalaseema.

According to reports, East Godavari District administration has already alerted the official machinery to be on full alert to deal with impending flood like to be caused by River Godavari and has issued the first flood warning.
The Godavari River is already overflowing because of the heavy rains in North Telangana districts and Maharashtra.
East Godavari District Collector H. Arun Kumar said that the first warning about the approaching flood was issued as soon as the Godavari River crossed the 43 feet mark at Bhadrachalam in Telangana.
