On Sunday late evening, 22nd February when Umar Khalid returned to the Jawaharlal Nehru University Campus he gave a speech that not many have watched.
After he came back from hiding, he stood at the administration block and talked for 14 minutes or so. In this speech he talked about how the media had twisted things and lied about Umar’s life.
He then went on to say that JNU was a wrong university to pick a fight with. He said that they will fight with all they have, the same way they had done in the past.
