Gunda-raj has returned to Bihar- BJP
Following the charge of a murder the former RJD parliamentarian Mohammed Shahabuddin walked out of jail on bail after 11 years, however the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues to maintain that the move is an indication that the ‘Jungle-Raj’ is back in Bihar and its Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can do nothing, except being a mute spectator.
“It’s a matter of huge concern that the people of Bihar would definitely not have voted for the return of this ‘jungle raj’ to Bihar and how Shahabuddin has come out and the kind of language he is using for Nitish Kumar,” said the BJP leader Nalin Kohli.

Stating that Nitish Kumar has no control over the on-going situation where Shahabuddin does not even consider him Chief Minister, Kohli added that it is a state of confirmation that ‘gunda raj and the jungle raj’ has returned to Bihar.
However, yesterday Nitish gave a response to Shahabuddin’s comments stating that he came to power only because of the citizens of Bihar and that he dows not care about what others say.
Earlier, soon after being released fron the jail, Shahabuddin said “My leader is Lalu Yadav,” and called Nitish Kumar as a “Chief Minister of circumstance.”
He was sentenced to jail in November 2005 in connection with the murder of Rajiv Ranjan, a prime witness in the murder case of his two brothers Girish Raj and Satish Raj. The brothers were murdered in Siwan in August 2004.
