As per Delhi Police the female worker, who is identified as Soni, committed suicide on Tuesday after a molestor against whom she had filed a complained and who is also one of the party member, was granted bail.
“She filed a police complaint on June 2 which said that one of her collegue Ramesh Wadhwa was harassing her. We had registered a case against him and arrested him on June 3. However, he was granted bail on June 4,” a police officer said.
The FIR lodged by Soni said that Wadhwa was harassing her continuously and asking for sexual favours. She raised the matter in the party as well but no action was taken against him.
