As many as 1,000 kids from K K School in Varthu areas wrote to an influential someone and that someone is none other than Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
Opening line of the letters written by the students of KK School “Dear Modi uncle, clean air, clean water and clean environment is our right.”
Varthur is home to one of the largest lakes, the lake which has been frothing for the last two years.
After seeing that the authorities are least bothered to take steps to save the lake, as many as 1000 children from class 1 to 10 have taken the initiative to post letters to PM Modi, who had already taken up the cause of cleaning River Ganga.
Initiative by these small hands may bring a big change in the society.
