AAP MLA Amanathulla Khan will be seeking a bail plea in Delhi Saket Court today. As on Tuesday the court has rejected his bail’s plea, after he was arrested on the alleged charges of rape and murder of a woman. Later he was sent to a 14 day judicial custody.
Last week, a woman claimed that she had a word with Amanathulla Khan on July 10, followed, which she visited his residence to complain about regular power cuts. But the minister did not bother to meet her and as she was returning a youth came up to her, and threatened her that she would be killed if she did stop politicizing the matter.

But Khan has dismissed these charges, claiming that he was not even aware that a woman came to his residence.
A case has been registered now against the legislators under Sections 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in the Jamia Nagar Police Station in South Delhi.
