ATM services would be back to normal within 10 days : SBI
Normalisation of ATM services will take another ten days
According to a report , State Bank of India in a statement has said that ATM services will take another 10 days to get back to normal .
As per the bank, number of machines is huge but vendors are very few. The government has said that most of ATMs will start funtioning from Friday. But the chairman of SBI, Arundhati Bhattacharya has said that the ATM services would be back to normal within 10 days because there are two lakh ATMs in the country and only three -four vendors.
She further added that some ATMs are confirgured to dispatch Rs.500 and 1000 notes. They will not be able to dispense notes of 100 so now they have to be reconfigured. Apart from it, sending cash to centres is also a challenge because it needs both transport as well as adequate security.
Notably, all the ATM Services are affected since November 9, a day after PM’s big announcement on 500 and 1000 notes. PM Modi on November 8 had declared that notes of 500 and 1000 will be invalid and after which a sudden rush was seen every where in India. Well , it is a commendable step and people are really appreciating it.
Well, it was one of biggest and major announcement by PM Narendra Modi ever since the BJP government came into power.
His move has been appreciated across nation as this would help the government to deal with the menace of Black money in India, but it has created a lot of trouble for a common man.
Though , the government and the banks are doing all possible efforts to tackle crowd but still people have to wait for few more days so that banks can get back to normal completely.
Thursday was a rush day in nation and now it seems that people have to wait little more for the easy accesibility of their money .
