Recently Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal met Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss AAP’s government newly announced rules to control pollution that will come in effect from January 1st, 2016
Kejriwal tweeted that he had sought meeting to discuss implementation of odd and even formula. The AAP government has recently passed a rule that private cars with odd number will be able to drive their cars on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, whereas even number car holders can drive on Tuesday , Thursday and Saturday and all vehicles will able to ply on Sundays.
The odd even – formula will not be applied on CNG driven vehicles such as buses, rickshaw and on emergency vehicles such as ambulance.
