Andhra Pradesh can get economic package or special status today: Reports

According to reports, Andhra Pradesh can today get special state status or the economic package as the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting here with his cabinet colleagues on Wednesday over likely announcement from the central government over the issue.

Notably in capital Rajya Sabha member along with Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the issue.

As per reports, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is expected to make an announcement on all things that all would be delivered to Andhra Pradesh in accordance with Reorganization act, 2014. Nothing is still confirmed but a big announcement can be made today.
