ACB raids PWC
The Delhi’s Public Work Department (PWD) office on Wednesday was raided by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) soon after the allegations were raised over corruption in the 6.2 km BRT corridor demolition project in South Delhi.
The complaint was filed by the BJP MLA O.P. Sharma who alleged Rs. 15 crore corruption in the demolition project headed by the Delhi government.
However, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia denied all the allegations and dared the BJP government to arrest him.
Guess the slap on BJP’s face related to the Arunachal Pradesh issue was not enough, Sisodia stated in a tweet and dared the Prime Minister to send all AAP members to jail.

As per the reports O.P. Sharma along with RTI activist Vivek Garg had filed a case for cheating, criminal breach of trust, corruption and misappropriation against PWD Minister Satyendar Jain and his officials. The complaint also accuses the contractor of the project.
The complaint alleges that the contractor made crores of rupees by taking away the scrap which was not considered by the PWD.
It further states that the tender document does not mention “scrap value of salvage”.
