Jaipur Lit Fest to start tomorrow!
Jaipur Literature Festival, the oldest, and largest free Literature Festival kicks off to a melodious start tomorrow (Jan 21) in the Pink City of Jaipur.
The show opens at 9:15 AM tomorrow to the mellifluous voice of Gayatrhi Kaundinya’s hindustani recital. This will be followed by a keynote address by Margaret Atwood and Shreyasi Goenka.
Eminent author Ruskin Bond, Colm Toibin, Jairam Ramesh, Valmik Thapar and other writers come in conversation at the various halls during the course of the day.
Books like ‘A World of Colours’ – by Paresh Maity, ‘Indian Accent Restaurant Cookbook’ – by Manish Mehrotra, and ‘You Can be Smarter and Wiser’ by Meera Shenoy and Prasad Kalpa are also being launched later during the day.
The day comes to a close with a enjoyable musical performance by ‘Kulte Khan Project’ of Yom & Wang Li.
