The magic of Diwali sweets in global dessert rankings, two beloved Indian sweets have earned noteworthy positions. Rasmalai, a cherished cheese dessert originating from West Bengal, secured the 31st spot, while the delightful Kaju Katli claimed the 41st position on TasteAtlas, an experiential food guide.
Global Sweet Delights Triumph
France’s classic Crepes claimed the top spot, followed by Brazil’s coconut-flavoured pastry, Bombocado, in second place. Peru’s Queso helado, akin to ice cream, secured the third position, and Italy’s iconic Tiramisu claimed the fourth. French desserts showcased their expertise further, with Creme Brulee at the fifth and Souffle au Chocolat at the ninth.

Baklava, known for its layers of phyllo dough, honey, and nuts, held the 27th spot. Brownies and chocolate chip cookies rounded out the list at 49th and 50th positions.
