Global Day of Parents: Celebrating and Honoring the Foundation of Family and Society on June 1st

The Global Day of Parents is celebrated on the 1st of June each year as a United Nations targeted day for parenting and parental responsibilities. First endorsed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012, this day aims at raising awareness of parents’ importance in caring and raising their children as well as providing the overall proper environment for the family’s healthy development.
