The march, which was halted for a few days, is expected to gain momentum despite the internet ban imposed in parts of Ambala.

Key Demands of the Farmers:

– _Legal Guarantee for MSP_: Farmers are demanding a legal guarantee for MSP to ensure fair prices for their crops.
– _Farm Debt Waiver_: Farmers are seeking a waiver of their debts to alleviate their financial burden.
– _Pension for Farmers and Farm Labourers_: Farmers are demanding a pension scheme for themselves and farm labourers to ensure their financial security.
– _No Hike in Electricity Tariff_: Farmers are opposing any hike in electricity tariff, which would further burden them.

The Haryana Police has imposed an internet ban in 11 villages of the Ambala district to prevent the spread of misinformation and maintain law and order. The police have also set up multi-layered barricading to stop the farmers from marching towards Delhi.

The farmers’ march is expected to gain momentum in the coming days, with more farmers joining the protest. The government has been urged to initiate talks with the farmers to address their grievances and find a solution to the ongoing crisis.
