Mulayam Singh met Yogi Adityanath to congratulate him for UP win!

Kisne Feka: After the UP-assembly elections, a photo of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family meeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath got viral on social media. Yogi Adityanath can be seen interacting with Akhilesh Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, and Shivpal Yadav in the viral image. According to this image, the family of Mulayam Singh Yadav met Yogi Adityanath and congratulated him on the win.

Foolproof news: The viral claim is false. In a report of NDTV dated 10 June 2019, UP CM Yogi Adityanath met Mulayam Singh Yadav at his residence to inquire about his health condition. Due to increased blood sugar levels, Mulayam Singh had been admitted to the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences hospital. During this meeting, Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav, the chief of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), were also present.

A similar image was tweeted by CM Yogi Adityanath back then, “Met former Chief Minister of the state and Samajwadi Party founder Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji at his residence today and inquired about his well-being. I pray to God for his speedy recovery.”

BJP MLA damaged BR Ambedkar’s statue!

Kisne Feka: An image of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s damaged statue is viral on social media. In the viral photo, a toppled statue of BR Ambedkar, along with some ordinary people and a few police officers, are seen. There is a claim that Karni Singh, a BJP MLA, damaged Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s statue.

Foolproof news: The viral claim is false. The viral image has been available on the internet since 2018. The report reads Dainik Jagran dated 04 March 2018 in Hindi, “दो दिन में चार जगह तोड़ी गई डॉ. अम्बेडकर की प्रतिमा.” A few people from UP had demolished Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar’s statues at four different sites in Ghazipur, Deoria, Agra, and Aligarh.

This incident took place next to Rampur Karkhana police station in Deoria, where unruly elements broke the statue of Dr Ambedkar. Rai Saheb Yadav and SDM Sadar Rakesh Singh reached the spot and managed to calm the tense situation. A few people were detained as well. The incident was not associated with BJP.

AIMIM party cut the vote of Samajwadi Party-RLD in UP elections!

Kisne Feka: In UP, Bharatiya Janata Party won 255 seats out of 403, and SP came second with 111 seats. Social media users blamed Dalits and Muslims for the BJP victory, and Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM party for being the BJP’s “B” team. Meanwhile, a post is doing the rounds on social media. BJP reportedly won 165 seats in UP elections with less than 2,000 votes margin. It is alleged that the AIMIM party cut the vote of Samajwadi Party-RLD in all these 165 seats, which ultimately helped BJP win the election.

Foolproof news: Digvijaya Singh shared this photo with the caption: “Interesting facts. MIM and BJP are doing exactly what Britishers scripted by promoting Hindu Mahasabha RSS Savarkar and Jinnah Muslim League on the other. Religious Fanaticism Globally is a curse to Humanity.”

The viral claim is false. AIMIM contested 96 of the 403 seats. It means that the share of AIMIM helping the BJP in 165 seats is false.

Only 29 seats have a margin of victory of less than 2000 votes. 11 out of 29 seats have a margin of victory of less than 500 votes. Only four seats had a difference of less than 1,000 votes, and between 1000-2000 votes in 14 seats. These winning seats include both SP and BJP.
