Indian railways operate ‘Trishul’ by Clubbing 3 goods train
For the first time, South Central Railways has operated "Trishul", long haul Goods train clubbing together three Goods trains. It was formed at Vijayawada and operated as a single train upto Duvvada station.

For the 1st time, Indian Railways operated Trishul, a long-haul trail formed by clubbing together 3 goods trains as one.
This train was formed at Vijayawada and operated as a single train up to Duvvada. It is the last station bordering South Central Railways Jurisdiction.

3 years ago, 7 residents from Uttar Pradesh decided to find solutions to clear excess waste from their locality’s market.
Forming a volunteer team SAAPH (Sustainable Alternatives & Awareness against single-use Plastics & Household waste), they worked to bring about change & awareness in their community.
The members have also organized small-scale street plays, composting projects, webinars, and workshops on sustainable menstruation and eco-bricks.
Acer laptops to be produced in India under PLI scheme
Make in India initiative gains momentum as Noida-based Dixon Technologies set to produce Acer Laptops under contract manufacturing agreement.
Initially manufactured laptops will be for the domestic market and eventually for exports.
India clinches silver in 50-metre rifle 3 positions mixed team
Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Ayushi Poddar bagged silver in 50m rifle 3 positions mixed team event at the ISSF Junior World Championship in Lima, Peru.
India now has 10 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals in its basket.

Anshu Malik won the silver medal in the 57kg category Wrestling World Championships. She lost to 2016 Olympic Champion Helen Lousie Maroulis in the finals.
In another bout, Sarita Mor grabbed the maiden medal on the big stage by winning the 59kg bronze.

World’s highest EV charging station gets installed in Ladakh
On the Manali-Leh Ladakh route, 18 EV charging stations are being installed and 15 of them are 10000 feet- 14000 feet above mean sea level.
The company called Shuchi Anant Virya installed these charging stations. These installed chargers are a mix of Type-I and type II AC chargers. Two to four-wheelers users can charge their vehicles in these stations.

Indian Army Troops, serving with the UN peacekeeping mission South Sudan have received the United Nations medal for ensuring peace in South Sudan.
Being the 2nd-largest troop contributor to the peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, India has provided nearly 2400 soldiers.

India wins bronze in Men’s doubles at Asian TT Championships
Bringing pride to India the two Indian pairs of Sharath Kamal & G Sathiyan and Harmeet Desai & Manav Thakkar won bronze medals in the men’s doubles of the 2021 ITTF-ATTU Asian Championships.

A 14-year-old Indian girl, shooter Naamya Kapoor made her way to the gold medal ahead of her celebrated compatriot Manu Bhaker in the Women’s 25m pistol event of the ISSF Junior World Championship. She has also become the youngest Indian shooter to win an international medal.
India has won 7 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze for a total haul of 16 medals in the championship and is leading the standings.
