Good news: India to host its 1st ever FIFA under 17 women’s world cup 2022
India will make a mark on the map of football sport as the nation will host Federation International De Football Association (FIFA) under 17 women’s World Cup 2022. The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has consented to the Mega sports event.
This world cup is scheduled in India between 11th and 30th October 2022. It is expected to boost women’s representation in football leadership, improve football standards for women, and enhance the commercial value of the women’s game.
Good news: Suraj Vashisht becomes India’s first Greco-Roman U-17 World Champion in 32 years.

Bringing immense glory to the motherland, 16-year-old Suraj Vashisht clinched a gold medal in the 55 kg Greco-Roman event at the U-17 World Championships. He became India’s first Greco-Roman U-17 world champion in 32 years.

He defeated European champion Faraim Mushtafayev of Azerbaijan 11-0 in the 55 kg weight class to achieve this feat. Ronit Sharma (48 kg silver) and Manish (51 kg bronze) bagged the other two medals for India in the tournament.

India’s Pride Neeraj Chopra scripted history as he became the second Indian to win a medal for India in the javelin throw at the world athletics championships. He clinched silver with a clutch 88.13m throw on his fourth attempt.
Anju Bobby George is the first Indian to have won a medal at the world championships in 2003.
Inspiring! Kerala Visually impaired girl tops class 12
Displaying that disability does not impede success, Kochi girl Hannah Alice Simon added another feather to her accolades as the 19-year-old girl secured the first rank in class 12 Board examinations in the disabled category.
She is a singer, motivational speaker, and a Youtuber. Hannah scored 496 out of 500 in CBSE class XII despite having microphthalmia, which resulted in her blindness.

Hannah launched a book on July 15 with six short stories about six young girls named ‘Welcome Home.’

Arvind Goyal, a doctor from Moradabad, donated his entire property to the Uttar Pradesh government to help the poor. The value of the whole property is close to Rs 600 crore, he has been working for the past 50 years.
After donating the property, he said he had made this decision about 25 years ago.
During the lockdown, Arvind adopted 50 villages in Moradabad to provide accessible facilities. He had also arranged for free education and better treatment for the poor in the state. Dr. Goyal has been honoured by the President four times by former Presidents, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Pratibha Devi Patil, Pranab Mukherjee, and Ram Nath Kovind.
