Fake news: Indian players lost to France in the 1948 Olympics because the Nehru government could not buy the players football shoes.

Foolproof: Most Indian footballers preferred to play without shoes against France in the 1948 Olympics as they were not comfortable playing with shoes on.

Kisne feka: Viral video shows Muslim men beaten to death on charges of cattle theft.

Fool proof: The viral video is from Hisar, Haryana, where a person named Vikas was beaten to death due to mutual hostility. All the accused belong to the Hindu Community.

3. VD Savarkar meet with Mohammad Ali Jinnah

Fake news: Viral image shows VD Savarkar meeting Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Fool proof: the person in the photo, along with Savarkar, is Stafford Cripps. The image was captured during the Cripps Mission of 1942, during which Cripps attempted to appeal to the Hindu Mahasabha, amongst other political leaders.

4. Muslim men with Hindu women caught at Hookah Bar

Kisne feka: During a police raid at a Hookah Bar in Madhya Pradesh, 15 Muslim men were caught with 15 Hindu women in intimate positions.

Fool proof: The viral video is from Agra, and no communal angle was involved. All the people caught in the raid belong to the Hindu community. They were later released.

5. Indian forces shooting stone-pelter Kashmiri

Fake news: Viral video shows Indian forces shooting back at a stone-pelter after Kashmiri throws stones at them.

Foolproof: Viral video is from the Bolivian city of La Plage, where dynamite accidentally detonated in the hands of a protester during the altercation between Coca farmers and the authorities.

6. BJP Govt sold Public Sector Companies

Kisne feka: BJP government has sold public sector companies such as SAIL, BPCL, Gun Factory, HP, OEF, etc.

Foolproof: Except for Air India, no other public sector undertaking mentioned in the viral list was completely privatized by the BJP government. The PSUs, such as BPCL, BHEL, HPCL, and SAIL, have experienced a reduction in their stake under the government.

7. People chanting Bhupesh Baghel Zindabad

Fake news: Viral video shows people chanting Bhupesh Baghel Zindabad in Tejaswi Surya’s rally.

Foolproof: The slogans of ‘Bhupesh Baghel Zindabad’ were not raised in Tejaswi’s speech. The video has been edited.

Kisne feka: The man talking about criminalization in politics is IPS officer ‘Shailija Kant Mishra’ of Lucknow.

Foolproof: The man in the viral video is Nitish Rajput, a Youtuber and content creator.
