The Bronze Medal of the Indian Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt has been upgraded to silver from Bronze after second –place finisher late Besik Kudukhov of Russia was stripped off his medal for failing a dope test.

Yogeshwar tweeted “This morning I came to know that my Olympic medal has been upgraded to silver. I dedicate this medal to people of the nation.”
According to a report, the four- time world champion and two-time Olympic medallist Kudukhov, who had died in a car accident was found to have used a banned substance in a test conducted by the world Anti- doping agency as a result, Yogeshwar has not joined Sushil Kumar who bagged the silver medal.
