Jennifer Lawrence had a blast while shooting X-Men Days of Future Past:

Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence who is back to playing the blue-skinned, shape-shifting mutant Mystique in ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’, revealed that she had her share of fun while punching her co-stars off-camera. Releasing on the 23rd of May, the movie based on the fictional X-Men characters appearing in the Marvel Comics has Lawrence doing some high-voltage fight sequences.

The American actress stated that on-set she was the ringleader of the “circle game” (a schoolyard prank where you hold your thumb and the index finger in a circle somewhere below your waist and if you can trick someone into looking down at it you get to punch them in the arm).


“I actually brought it to ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’ from ‘Hunger Games’, where we were obsessed with the game,’ said Lawrence at an event. Quite uncanny, X-Woman on top of the X-men!

Hugh Jackman signs on to play Wolverine for the next three X-men franchise:

Hugh Jackman might be busy promoting the biggest X-Men movie, but in the meanwhile he has managed to extend some smiles across the globe. The Australian actor has signed onto play the super-hero Wolverine in two more spin-off superhero movies as well as a third hinted film X-Men: Apocalypse.


Jackman in the past had admitted to repercussions in essaying the character due to health issues, but that’s no more stopping him from giving what his fans want from him.

While promoting ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’, he stated that “It’s much easier because it’s tough to get there, physically, but once you’re there, it’s easier to maintain it.”



‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ hits the theatres worldwide on 23rd May, 2014.
