Ways to remove nasty skin tags
Here are few ways to remove nasty skin tags
Dermatologists call the Fleshy little grown tags on your skin as “acrochordons” or “cutaneous tags”. These raised bumps and flaps are though harmless but could be annoying to no extend.
A dermatologist from New York City, MD, Bruce Katz said, “They often occur in areas of friction like around the neck, under the arms, and by the groin and are thought to be caused by irritation from skin rubbing against skin or clothing.”
Skin tags may or may not be genetic but usually are. Skin tags have probability to grow on obese people as there is more flesh present, which is likely to rub against itself leading to more tags to develop.
You could have just one or a group of skin tags. They can grow as a small, secluded group of bumps.
Approximately, one out of every four people are tend to grow skin tags at some point. It’s common to be seen after the age of fifty. It may be harmless but could be very irritating, inflamed and if scratched could even start to bleed.
Katz added, “You’re opening yourself up to risk of scarring and infection,” while warning about using harmful methods like tying the tag with a thread in order to remove it. Moreover, the tags can be easily removed. Instead of trying and being experts yourself, real experts like a dermatologist or a local anesthetic should be concerned. Majorly, freezing or heating the tag are other well known options.
Discomfort is generally minimal with any method used and you don’t need to restrain from any of your normal activities. Once the tag is properly removed, there’s no mark left behind.
The same skin tag generally don’t grow back, but chances for new skin tags are always there.
