Germany’s regulatory body KBA has ordered Volkswagen to recall 2.4 million faulty cars sold in Germany itself.
This order came after VW tried to wriggle out of the situation by saying that car owners may bring back cars voluntarily if they so wished.
In further troubles for the beleagured car major, it’s offices and those of Lamborghini, a VW subsidary have been raided by the police in Italy.
