Just in case not to be left behind, Vodafone has recently joined the bandwagon and has slashed the price of its data rates further offering benefits up to 67 percent.
The schemes which are offering up to 67 percent more data are now available on 2G, 3G and 4G services at the same price.
“Under these revised data benefits, the 3GB 3G/4G monthly recharge pack, which had been earlier priced at approximately Rs. 650 will be from now offer 5GB data, with an increase of 67 percent,”Vodafone said in a statement.
Similarly, the Rs. 449 scheme of Vodafone for 3G/4G will now offers 50 percent more data by increasing the data benefit to 3GB from 2GB and the Rs. 999 3G/4G pack will now offer 10GB data, which is 54 percent more benefits.

Interestingly, the development comes within a fortnight after the telecom companies Airtel and Idea have slashed their data tarrifs.
“The Rs39 2G sachet pack which cone with a 5-day validity will now offer 225MB data as compared to 160 MB, which is an increase of 41 percent, while on the other hand Rs 12 3G/4G sachet pack which was with a 1-day validity which will now offer 50 MB data vs 30MB, a further increase of 67 percent,” Vodafone said.
The pack prices mentioned are directly indicative and may also vary from circle to circle, it added.
Earlier in the month of July, India’s leading telecom service providers Idea and Airtel had slashed their prices of the data rates by up to 67 percent each.
