‘Ek Villian’ is a love story movie based on a villain. Confusing! Isn’t it? The main character, around which this movie revolves, Guru, is a quiet, ruthless and tough guy who has been brought up in grinding conditions and circumstances in Goa. The action packed thriller is all set to release on the 27th of June and the audience has great expectations from it. Recently, the lead pair of the movie, Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra were promoting their upcoming release at PVR Saket, Delhi. The movie also stars Reteish Deshmukh in a pivotal role.
“Both the male characters if it is me or Riteish, are playing negative roles, doing negative things. Maybe my role is louder and more aggressive and his is a different kind of a negative role, who maybe slightly unassuming,” stated Sidharth Malhotra, describing the male leads in ‘Ek Villian’.
As everybody does, both the characters have a grey shades to them and it comes out because of love for their respective partners. The movie displays, how love can change you, be it in a negative or in a good way. The movie has also got a nice message to it ‘hate cannot eliminate hate, only love can’.

Looking at the trailers, it is still not clear who among the three: Shraddha, Sidharth and Riteish is the villian. “The people are excited to know who the real villain is but they will find it out only on the 27th of June,” said Shraddha Kapoor who plays the role of a loud girl, trying to play a rainbow between two grey characters.
The director of the movie, Mohit Suri has gained acclaim for his previous projects like Murder 2 and Awarapan. His last movie Aashiqui 2 was also a big hit at the box office with some chartbusting music and great performances by the protagonists. He would hope to continue his run of hits and make this movie a huge success.
