Viagra reduces heart attack risks
The little blue pill that is used by men to have sex has another use too. It is used to ward off heart attacks and heart failures, according to a recent study.
Andrew Trafford, the led scientist has said that, the findings are “incredibly exciting.”
The researchers from University of Manchester studied 6,000 diabetic patients in Cheshire who has been given Viagra, which further works by increasing blood flow, to boost a flagging sex life.

Trafford has also said that the studies have shown that drugs which are normally used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, such as Viagra, actually has a very pronounced effect in slowing the progression of heart failure and also reducing the likelihood of fatal arrhythmias.
He also added that, the patients who have received Viagra of similar drugs for the erectile dysfunction are far less likely to suffer a heart attack.
The entire study was published in the Journal BMJ Heart.
