The compact car segment of India is not only the most crowded one having a huge number of cars but is also the one with large volumes.
In 2016, this segment is going to get bigger as more launches have been scheduled.
Following are the list of the top most six compact cars to be launched in 2016:
1. Tata Kite 5 Kite 5 being elder sibling of Tiago includes all the features of Tiago including the engines with a sporty appeal and the boot will promise to take up considerable amount of luggage.
2. Tata Nexon Nexon is the Tata's upcoming compact SUV with all new 1.5 litre diesel motor that produces 110PS of power and a peak torque of 260Nm.

3. Maruti Suzuki Ignis Ignis comes in the compact SUV segment of Maruti with a 90PS diesel and a booster jet moto and this time comes with a boxy setup of just 3700mm.
4. Volkswagen Ameo Ameo is just another polo but with a notchy boot and a stronger bodyshell. Ameo will get 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel mil.
5. The Datsun redi-GO Redi-GO is just another version of Kwid, having contemporary tall boy looks and a price tag between Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh.
6. Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Baleno RS is the sportier version of Baleno having an all new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor, producing about 110PS of power and about 170Nm of torque.
