1. Cutoff release: The first cutoff is expected to come out on Wednesday that is 30th June. Students can see the cutoff from the DU’s official website that is www.du.ac.in
2. Girls concession: A uniform 1% concession is given to girls at 24 colleges in some of the courses.
3. No first come first policy: There is nothing like first come first policy basis for admissions in DU as the colleges will have to admit all the students who met the announced cutoff criteria.

Online Admission process: If the candidate meets the cutoff criteria then he should open DU web portal, choose the college as well as the course, take a print of the form and go to the respective college for verification of mark sheets and other documents. The student will be informed about his admission through the online portal and the student will have to pay the fees online.
5. Number of cutoff lists: This year only 5 cutoff lists will be released after which admissions will start at individual colleges based on the number of vacant seats.
