In a country like India with growing population and an ever shrinking road space, buying a two wheeler has been a smart choice. A much smarter choice is to buy a second hand bike when it comes to shoot economically.

Private sellers would give a cheap price but involve risk in the quality but dealers would give a thoroughly inspected bike.

2. Checking Bike parts
The buyer should check the following features of a bike if they are in working conditions or not : Brakes, Clutch, Oil Leakage, Corrosion/Rust, Chassis, Chains, Tyres, Electricals and Battery, Fuel Tank, Suspension, Wheels,etc
3. Paperwork check
The most important is to check the paperwork of the bike to be bought.
Certificates like RC(Registration Certificate), Insurance Certificate, PUC(Pollution Under Control Certificate), NOC(No Objections Certificate) should be thoroughly checked and certified before buying a second hand bike.
