‘The Shaukeens’ in Delhi!
A wonderful afternoon in Delhi turned even brighter because of the presence of the Comedy King of Bollywood Akshay Kumar, with the whole cast of ‘The Shaukeens’ in the Imperial Hotel, Janpath for the promotion of their movie.
Director Abhishek Sharma, Anupam Kher, Anu Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Piyush Mishra all addressed the Media and shared their experiences about the movie.

Veteran actors such as Anupam Kher, Anu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra are seen chasing after young girls in their forth coming project, but they refuse to tag it as a cheap comedy.
“Our movie has got a U/A certificate and it is very nice that we are a part of such a clean film”, says Anupam Kher.
The actors assured that the movie is a complete family package and it does not have any Sleazy comedy.
The story of the movie is all about three Shaukeens who have got retired and want love from the opposite sex. Peppy numbers by Honey Singh in the movie are already proving themselves to be chartbusters.
The track Alcoholic, has already caught the pulse of today’s youngsters. Akshay Kumar, who is lead of the movie, is playing the character of an actor who wants to win the National award and he can do anything to win that award. He is the only actor in bollywood who could have laughed at himself, and is seen poking fun at the fact that he hasn’t received a national award himself till now
On being asked by One World News that who is his favorite co-star? Akshay replied “Well, I have good chemistry with everyone I work with and everybody is my favorite and quoting one will be difficult”.
The actors also made the environment hilarious by their strong comedy skills, and nobody was allowed to ask serious questions keeping in mind the genre of movie.
On asking Akshay about his wish to win National award he answered, “Yes, of course I want to win it but the thing I dislike in our industry is that a comedian is not considered as a best actor. He is not given the award of best actor and rather he is categorized”.

On being asked about the tracks in the movie and to name his favorite he said, “Alcoholic, as i really enjoyed the song while shooting”
Akshay also praised Honey Singh for his music as the duo have given some chartbusters earlier to the nation such as Party all night, title track of boss and a super hit from Khiladi 786.
The director is also quite confident about the movie as he has earlier directed Tere Bin Laiden which was a nice blend of comedy and drama.
Winding up the conversation they requested audiences to watch The Shaukeens on November 7th with their family.
