THE PRISON EXPERIMENT

In the year 1971, the premier institute- Stanford conducted an experiment that studied the psychological effects of being a prisoner or a prison guard.

This experiment called PSE is one of the major milestones in the record of psychological testing. This experiment was conducted under the supervision of Philip Zimbardo, who is a well-known psychologist and who has written various texts that are studied today by psychology students.

The experiment reached such heights of psychological torture that some people quit the experiment early and later it was bought to an abrupt ending.
