The government has decided to impose Swachh Bharat tax on services just after Diwali. The tax will be launched from November 15. With this scheme Railway tickets, Banking services, Electricity bills, Telephone bills, etc. are going to be expensive.
The tax will be imposed at the rate of 0.5% . It is believed that by imposing Swachh Bharat tax government will attain revenues of 400 crore in the current financial year itself.
