New Delhi, March 23, 2015: Suzuki Gixxer has won four of the most coveted and sought-after ‘Bike Of the Year’ Awards including theZeegnition ‘Bike of the Year’ and ‘Motorcycle of the Year (upto 160cc)’, Motoring World ‘Bike of the Year’ and the Auto Bild India ‘Motorcycle of the Year’.
The Gixxer bagged Zee Business – Zeegnition’s ’Bike of the Year’ and ‘Motorcycle of the Year (upto 160cc)’ at the Zeegnition Auto Awards 2015, held on March 18, 2015 in Mumbai. The Gixxer was awarded ’Bike of the Year’ at the Motoring World Awards 2015 in New Delhi, on March 19. At the Auto Bild India Golden Steering Wheels Awards 2015, the Gixxer once again won the ‘Bike of the Year’ in New Delhi on March 20, 2015.
The Gixxer is drawn from the lineage of Suzuki’s globally successful GSX-R 1000 series. The motorcycle was introduced to the Indian market in September last year. The ‘Street Sport’ Gixxer is equipped with Suzuki’s breakthrough SEP technology to deliver a perfect balance of power and fuel efficiency.
