Sunil Narine suspended for illegal action.
The West Indian spinner Sunil Narine, has been suspended from bowling in his internationals, after his action was fond illegal. He is among world’s top most bowlers in both forms of limited overs.
On Sunday, International Cricket Council (ICC) said that, “An independent assessment found his bowling action was illegal because his elbow extended beyond the maximum limit of 15 degrees “.
ICC further said,” The suspension would take place with immediate effect but Narine could re-apply for reassessment after modifying his action”.
Earlier in this month, Narine’s action was reported to ICC during the ODI series against Sri-Lanka. Against Sri-Lanka he was making his return to international cricket after more than a year, when first he was reported to ICC during champion league T20.
