Vegetarian salad with chopped mushrooms and fresh veggies
We bring to you the recipes of easy to make joyous and healthy salad options both for vegetarians as well as their meat eating challengers.
The following salad recipe is from Anun Dhawan, Director, Mentor Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. (Master Franchise holders of Pita Pit in India)
INGREDIENTS:
Turkey Ham slice – 40 grams (For Non Vegetarians)
Ceberg Lettuce – 50 grams
Tomatoes – 30 grams
Black Olives – 10 grams
Green Olives – 10 grams
Cucumber – 15 grams
Vinaigrette – 20 grams
Crumbled feta cheese – 10 grams
Hummus on the side – 30 grams
Salt and pepper
Non veg salad with crumbled feta cheese
HOW TO GO ABOUT IT:
Start with a bed of iceberg lettuce.
Add some sliced tomatoes, black olives, green olives & cucumber.
Toss it all together.
Add the turkey ham slices (for Non Vegetarians) with crumbled feta cheese for the cheese lovers and some light vinaigrette.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
Ready to serve.
Optional – Side serving of Hummus.
Serving size – 1 person (add more according to persons and convenience)
