According to the study published in The Lancet a medical journal smoking will almost kill about 2 million Chinese every year by 2030, up from the 1 million annual tobacco related deaths there.
As per the present trends, tabacco will kill one in three young Chinese men the study stated due to the habit, which has become epidemic.
Over 33% of the world’s cigarettes are consumed in the country.
