Sooraj Pancholi finally gets to play ‘Hero’!

Getting a break from controversies, and his alleged influence in the unfortunate Ziya Khan suicide, famous Actors Aditya Pancholi and Zareena Wahab’s son Sooraj Pancholi is all set to make his mark on Bollywood with his forthcoming debut film ‘Hero’.

A remake of the iconic Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri starrer of 1983, the film directed by Nikhil Advani is slated to hit the box office on September 11, 2015

The film is also a debut for Star Suneil Shetty’s daugther Athiya Shetty.

Having kick-started the careers of both Jackie and Meenakshi, one can imagine the performance anxiety of the cast and makers of the new Avatar of Hero, as the audiences will always compare the two, as is inevitable in such films, like in Agneepath with Amitabh Bachhan (1990), and the Hritik Roshan remake (2012).

Giving prestige to the project, the Trailer was launched by the darling of Bollywood – Salman Khan or ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’ himself.
