Soon Honda accord hybrid will be in India
In 2016, Japanese automobile company, Honda is planning to launch the new version of its Accord premium luxury sedan in India.
The president and CEO of Honda, Katsushi Inoue said, “Yes, we are getting the accord to India. And we are thinking of getting the hybrid accord as well. “
A 185-hp 2.4 litre four cylinder and a six speed manual are standard in both the coupe and sedan; sports models get a slight bump to 189hp. A CVT is optional as it’s a 278- hp 3.5 litre V-6 with a six speed automatic transmission.
Honda accord will compete with Skoda superb, Mercedes C-class, BMW 3 series and VW Passat. It can be launch any time next year, as the Honda diesel was recently spotted testing in the national capital.
The price of Honda hybrid will be rs.20 lacs to rs. 25 lacs.
