Ace Indian shuttler and top seeded badminton player, Kidambi Srikanth remained the only Indian contestant at Indonesian open Grand Prix after crossing the semi-finals round match of the men’s singles tournament.
Srikanth secured a comfortable victory with 21-10, 21-5 over Malaysian player Teck Zhi Soo in a game that lasted only for 24 minutes. Srikanth performed an excellent game of badminton as he didn’t allow any chance to Teck to challenge his power.
Meanwhile, Star Indian shuttler PV Sindhu bowed out from the women’s singles contest after suffering a defeat with 21-23, 13-21 against Chinese player He Bingjiao, which lasted for 36 minutes.
