Shamitabh: Conversing With The Cast
Delhi witnessed a glorious and glamourous evening today, with the legend Amitabh Bachchan, along with Dhanush and Akshara who had come for press conference, for the promotion of their upcoming movie, Shamitabh.
The Press conference took place in the heart of the city, at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place. The cast of the movie had a brilliantly interactive and witty session with the media.

Speaking about the movie, Amitabh Bachchan said, “The name struck people’s attention. The fact that Dhanush’s name and mine are merged together was something that intrigued people. But the motive was not to create sensation, but once you watch the movie, it will be clear to the viewers.”
He further added, “But when I read the script, I realized that the story was even more intriguing and the creativity with which it had been written, spells out Balki’s style, as had been with Paa and Cheeni Kum. Balki comes up with a completely brilliant story every two years, which is a surprise and makes me ponder upon the depths of his creativity.”
The debutant actress, Akshara Hassan, Says Amitabh, plays a vital role, in the movie.

Big B. Further talked about the challenges in the movie’s making, where he had to record every dialogue in the movie, then act in synch to those dialogues, and again dub the movie’s sequences, to polish and make the final adjustments. Something as he says was “One of a kind experience”.
The trailer has already started arousing curiosity amongst the viewers and the mystery behind the story has already set the brains and speculations in motion.
“The Movie is about a conflict, between Dhanush’s character and mine. In the movie, we both have a certain set of skills, which the other is deprived of. This brings both the characters together, as well as sets them apart.”

Dhanush spoke about the way the film was really complex and challenging to work in, yet he said that it was his honour to work with Sr. Bachchan.The movie is set to release on February 6 and people are holding their breath for the movie, with the air of mystery in the air.
