A girl student of the Government Polytechnic College married to a 25 year old woman from Agra. Girl left her home on January 4 and on 15 January her father filed a case against unknown people for kidnapping her.
Following a complaint by the girl’s father police tracked her phone call details and traced her staying at the woman’s house in Dewri Agra.
According to reports, both the girls, who run their cosmetic shop in Dewri appeared before the SDM and Saran police station in charge and present an affidavit of their marriage.
Police said that same sex marriage is not lawful in the country but both are adults and they can live together.
