Charm of some people never fades away, in fact their magic increases with the passage of time and one of them is Big B, the man, who is still ruling the hearts of people.
The ‘Angry Man’ of the industry was born in year 1942 on 11th of October. He was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. His father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a Hindi poet and his mother Teji Bachchan was a Sikh. They were originally Srivastava but his father adopted Bachchan as a Surname.
His hard work and dedication has become the inspiration for all of us today, but do know? It wasn’t easy journey of becoming the ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ from ‘Inquilaab’.
He started his career in year 1969 as a voice narrator. And before that he was struggling to get work, in fact he was rejected for a film because he was very thin at his early age. Acting wasn’t his cup of tea, he wanted to become engineer.
His first salary was Rs.300 and before giving Zanjeer , the blockbuster, Mr. Bachchan delivered 12 consecutive flops.
Mr.Bachchan was the patient of Tuberculosis, he himself revealed this fact during an interview. But what’s the beauty of the man, he takes everything positively.
According to him, “Just like a director, God also keeps most difficult role for his best actor.”
He came into notice from his significant role in Anand and after then, the Piku actor never looked back. He gave superhits like Kaliya, Don, Deewar, Sholay and the list is countless.
The crucial moments of life:
• He got seriously injured during the shooting of coolie and it was nearly a fatal injury
• When he went in debt in year 1997 after his production ABCL collapsed
• The man was crowned with Superstar of the Millennium in 2000
• He hosted the very famous TV show KBC
His controversial love life:
He got married to Jaya Bachchan in year 1973 but after that his affair with gorgeous Rekha made a lot headlines and even today people admire his love story.
According to reports, it started on the sets on Do Anjaane but it did not come into notice. But once when Big B lost his temper on one of his fellow star, who heckled Rekha, the alleged affair came into notice.
There were rumors that both of them got married, when Rekha was spotted wearing Sindoor at Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding but sadly this passionate love story came to an end after silslia. Both the actor never accepted their affair in Public but still they both adore each other. The main cause was that Rekha was not ready to settle down as the ‘other woman’ in Big B’s life.
Today Amitabh Bachchan is itself a benchmark and people admire him for his undying attitude. He is still young at heart and of course, he gives stiff competition to the actors of today’s generation.
Currently, Big B is enjoying his grandfather phase and is happily settled man. His life and struggle can give us strong determination to reach our goal.
