Ravi Shastri to remain team Director
The recent update by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) states that Ravi Shastri will continue his tenure as the director for the Indian Cricket Team.
The 53 year old has been closely associated with the cricket team even after his own retirement in 1992. He has been the director for the Indian Team since 2014.
According to BCCI’s recent announcement, he will remain the director till the 2016 T20 World Cup.
The cricket advisory committee also decided that Sanjay Bangar continues as the assistant coach (batting), Bharat Arun as bowling consultant and R. Sridhar as the fielding coach.
Their stay has also been extended til 2016 T20, alongside Ravi.
