Rajkumar Rao, who has come up as a promising actor since past few years in Bollywood, seems to be following the foot-path of Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan. Rajkumar has grown a real moustache for his upcoming movie, ‘Citylights’. The actor wanted to give a realistic look to his character, so, that is why he took the decision to have a real moustache. Also, he has postponed the shoot of his next movie, ‘Dolly ki Doli’, to keep his look intact for promotions of ‘Citylight’.
Citylights, a path-breaking movie, is all set to release on May 30th 2014. The movie stars Rajkumar Rao, who has won many awards this year for his exceptional acting in the movie called Shahid, and Patralekha who will be making her debut with this film. This movie is produced under banner of Vishesh films and Fox Star Studios, which has always given successful commercial films in past, and directed by Hansal Mehta.
Citylight is official remake of the international award-winning film METRO MANILA that has received critical acclaim and won awards at ‘British Independent Film Awards’, ‘Amazonas Film Festival’, ‘Sundance Film Festival’and ‘Hamburg Film Festival,’ apart from being the British entry for ‘Best Foreign Language’ Film at the ’86th Academy Awards’.
Citylight is based on the life of a farmer who shifts to Mumbai with his family (Wife and daughter) in hope of a better life. But is it so easy to adjust in completely new place, that too for a farmer? Well, you would have to watch the movie to know this. Audience is going to experience new genre and new experience while watching this movie.
