Provide a free book to EWS section says Delhi government!
The Delhi government recently warned all the private schools against demanding money for providing books and uniforms to students, who comes under Economically Weaker Section category.
Delhi government received several complaints from the parents and therefore private schools were warned by them.
Directorate of Education revealed that many private schools refused to provide free books, uniforms and writing material to the children and demanding money from parents which leads to further problems for them.
He further added that government has already warned the schools and if schools than also take money further strict actions will be taken against them.
Notably, the Right to Education Act, 2009, entitles the students of Economically Weaker Section category to free books, uniforms and other materials.
